How to Use Our Design Lab!


Create Your Custom Tee in Our Design Lab

Design your own Chanute Blue Comet gear (or any custom shirt) in minutes—no special software needed.

Start Here

  1. Open the Design Lab: [Launch the Design Lab]

  2. Create an account or sign in so your work auto-saves and you can come back to it later.

Feel free to return to the beginning and create as many designs as you wish!

Step-by-Step

  1. Choose your product
    Pick a T-shirt, long sleeve, crewneck, or hoodie.

  2. Select color & size range
    Preview your design on the garment color you plan to order.

  3. Add graphics

    • Browse our built-in art library (school, sports, mascots, badges, and more).

    • Or upload your own artwork/elements (PNG/SVG recommended).

  4. Add text
    Set your font, size, color, and effects.

  5. Arrange & refine
    Drag to position, use alignment tools, and check front/back prints if available.

  6. Preview & save
    Click Save. Saved designs are stored in your account so our team can view them.

  7. Order
    Add to cart, choose quantities/sizes, and checkout. We’ll handle printing in-house.

Artwork Guidelines

  • Use high-resolution PNG (transparent background) or vector SVG/PDF for the sharpest print.

  • Keep critical details inside the safe print area; avoid tiny type on textured fabrics.

  • Family-friendly only: no vulgar language or inappropriate imagery.

  • You must build the final layout inside our Design Lab (uploads are allowed, but compose the finished design in the tool).

Tips for Great Results

  • Test contrast: light graphics on dark garments (and vice versa) read best.

  • Outline thin fonts or increase stroke weight for readability.

  • If you’re designing for a group, save multiple colorways under separate names.
